Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. General Policy
California Pergola Systems LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides custom-designed aluminum pergolas and related services, including engineering, permitting, and installation. Because each project is uniquely manufactured to order, most purchases are non-refundable once production has begun.

2. Deposits

• A 30% deposit is required at the time of order acceptance.
• Deposits secure materials, engineering, and permit preparation.
• Deposits are non-refundable once design or permitting work has started.

3. Cancellations

• Before production begins: Written cancellation requests may be eligible for a partial refund, less costs incurred for design, engineering, or permit applications.
• After production begins: Orders cannot be canceled, and deposits are forfeited.
• After installation: No refunds are available for completed and installed projects.

4. Returns

• Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not accept returns once materials have been fabricated or delivered.

5. Installation Issues & Remedies
If there is an issue with installation caused by our team:

• We will repair or replace defective components at no additional cost.
• Claims must be submitted within 10 days of installation completion.
• This policy does not cover damage caused by misuse, alterations, or acts of nature.

6. Refund Processing

• Approved refunds (if any) will be issued using the original payment method.
• Processing may take up to 10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Force Majeure
Refunds are not available for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, strikes, or regulatory changes).

8. Warranty Disclaimer
Refunds are separate from warranty coverage. Our pergolas come with a 15-year structural and powder-coat warranty and a 5-year electronics warranty, as described in our Terms of Purchase.
