Aluminum Pergola in Laguna Niguel

We designed a wall‑mounted aluminum pergola finished in charcoal powder‑coat to complement the home’s palette. Instead of an open lattice, we specified a solid insulated roof for year‑round protection and heat reduction. Across the ceiling we integrated continuous recessed linear LED strips, creating a clean architectural glow for dinners and late‑night hangs by the pool.
Posts were located to respect traffic paths, align with the paver pattern, and frame the grill area. A discrete gutter system routes water to the perimeter and down through the posts, keeping the deck dry and the look minimal.

All‑aluminum frame — no rot, no repainting; coastal‑grade finish for OC’s marine air
Solid insulated panels — quieter in the rain, cooler shade at midday, 100% cover for furniture
Recessed linear LED lighting — warm, dimmable lines integrated into the ceiling (remote/app‑ready)
Integrated drainage — hidden gutters and downspouts inside posts
Family‑friendly layout — clear zones for dining, sofa seating, and play; unobstructed walkways to the pool
Future‑ready — concealed chases for optional heaters, fans, or screens
