Warranty Policy
1. Coverage Overview
California Pergola Systems LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides warranty coverage on all aluminum pergolas and accessories purchased through our website or directly from our sales representatives. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms, scope, and limitations of coverage for our products and services.

2. Warranty Periods
  • Structural and Powder-Coat Finish Warranty: 15 years
  • Covers defects in structural integrity and powder-coated finish of aluminum components.
  • Electronics Warranty: 5 years
  • Covers electrical components, including motors, sensors, and control systems.
  • Accessories Warranty: 2 years
  • Covers add-ons such as lighting, heating units, and screens unless otherwise specified.

3. What Is Covered
This warranty covers:
  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Premature failure of powder-coated finishes (e.g., peeling, blistering, or cracking).
  • Malfunction of covered electronic components under normal use.

4. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
  • Damage due to misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper installation by non-approved contractors.
  • Alterations or modifications not authorized by the Company.
  • Normal wear and tear, fading, or minor cosmetic imperfections.
  • Damage caused by environmental factors beyond reasonable control, including:
  • Acts of nature (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, strong winds, fire).
  • Saltwater corrosion or chemical exposure.
  • Costs of labor for removal, reinstallation, or shipping, unless explicitly stated.

5. Conditions for Warranty Service
  • Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  • Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is required to initiate a claim.
  • Products must be properly maintained in accordance with our care guidelines.
  • Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the applicable warranty period.

6. Remedies
If a defect covered under this warranty arises, the Company will, at its sole discretion:
  • Repair the defective product, or
  • Replace the defective product or component with an equivalent item, or
  • Provide a pro-rated credit toward a new purchase.

7. Limitation of Liability
  • Our liability is limited to the original purchase price of the defective product.
  • We are not responsible for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to property damage, loss of use, or loss of profits.

8. Governing Law
This Warranty Policy is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution procedures set forth in our Terms of Purchase.
