Project Overview
For this Huntington Beach property, the homeowners wanted a true outdoor dining room that works from sunny afternoons through breezy coastal nights—without constant upkeep. The solution had to sit on an existing raised wood deck, protect furniture from drizzle, and feel cozy after sunset.
Our Solution
We designed and installed a freestanding aluminum pergola custom‑fit to the deck footprint and aligned with the home’s traffic flow. The motorized louvered roof delivers open‑sky ventilation when tilted and tight weather protection when closed. To extend evening use, we integrated continuous perimeter LED lighting, creating a clean glow line around the ceiling.
